"The hotel is located within easy walking access to restaurants and stores. I stayed for three weeks and it suited my needs. Rooms are small, but adequately equipped. There was no coffee maker in my room until two days before checkout when one showed up unrequested, which I found odd. The buffet breakfast is over-priced for what is available around the area. "What a phenomenal find, we were booked at the Se Catedral Tapestry hotel which was a disaster so took to Expedia to find another property. Luckily the Fonte De Gaia had availability and we headed on over. We were welcomed by Liliana & Patricia who are by far two of the best hotel team members we have encountered in all our years, they are a huge asset to the hotel, all team members were five star but these two ladies were 6 star and could not do enough to help us, thank you Liliana & Patricia"

"The location being near the river was really nice. We enjoyed walking across the bridge and stopping at all of the vendors. We were within walking distance of many places but when our destination was too far we had the convenience of the taxi stand right across the street. "The hotel is in a great location, close to shops, local attractions and restaurants. All the staff is pleasant, helpful and accommodating. This was our third stay at the hotel. The only thing that I do miss is the bathrobes and slippers which we had on our first stay. I would strongly recommend this hotel."

"Reservation for 3 A lovely new hotel. It's just 10 minutes away from Bolhao Market and other major shopping, sightseeing area i.e. churches. It's a small boutique hotel no complain with the size and the room but there is no lobby area. Since we arrived early very tired and check in time is late in the afternoon, there is not much room area to wait inside the hotel especially on rainy day of February except for the couch by the front desk. The reception suggest we go to the backyard patio but there is no cover or heat and it was cold and rainy season. If there was a couch in the library room we would have stay there instead of waiting by the front desk. We just waited patiently for a room to be available since the hotel is fully booked. The front desk was kind enough to checked us in as soon a room was prepared and that was a blessing. We did not encounter any issue with all the staff during our stay and everyone we encounter are pleasant and accommodating. If you prefer to stay away from the crowded area this is a good place to rest and very safe area. The breakfast and pizza was good. The breakfast area is small and it's always busy in the morning we only ate there one time and the food are all fresh. The backyard patio will be useful during spring and summer season. "

"A good size room, with large bath & shower, large comfortable bed, room on 1st floor - no noise, very good breakfast - great selection/options, all staff very helpful, very well equipped gym to accommodate all levels/needs. Good location for transport/train to airport. The restaurant meals however...very small portions (pasta dish) +50% for an average size portion. "
