My experience with this property and Expedia was absolutely unacceptable and deeply disappointing. After traveling 12 exhausting hours with my two children, we arrived at the hotel only to find it completely unstaffed. No one was there to help us check in, and despite multiple calls to both the property and Expedia, we received no assistance. I had no choice but to find another hotel late at night, paying out of pocket just to shelter my family.
During my discussions with Expedia, the agent stated that I had to check in between 4 PM and 5 PM or I would not be able to check in at all. This policy is completely unrealistic for travelers arriving later in the day, but to make matters worse, no check-in instructions or warnings about this were provided at any point—no emails, no calls, no details anywhere. How was I supposed to know?
The following day, we managed to check in. The young lady at the front desk was incredibly kind—the only saving grace in this entire ordeal. However, the rest of the experience quickly turned sour again. Two other front desk agents were rude and dismissive. One turned their back on us while another agent muttered “uhuhhhh” while staring at the computer, which felt like a snide dismissal—almost as if he was saying, "this is the troublemaker!" By then, I chose to stay quiet because I was completely fed up.

This is our favorite place to stay when we visit Sandestin. Close to the beach and dining, spacious rooms, and safety/quiet makes it the perfect place to relax! Even with construction going on, we had the perfect trip!

The resort is beautiful and amazing but I did not like that the picture is deceiving in that the pools are not near the hotel at all. U have to drive or take the tram to back and forth to the beach and pools. The worse part was our room had 2 bad leaks in it and we were not offered anything for it

Not so great
Posted 30 Jun 2024 on HotelsThe resort has a HORRIBLE smell as soon as you step off the elevators. My sister and I couldn’t determine if it was backed up sewer lines or dead fish. The sinks do not drain properly and we saw numerous bugs in our room. Very very old place that needs a lot of updates.

Comfortable Stay
Posted 19 Jun 2024 on HotelsThe area was quaint and very nice. The condo was undergoing some renovations so not all floors were accessible. With older buildings comes older smells but overall it was a pretty decent stay. The staff was excellent and very accommodating!

Feels really safe, didnt know it under renovation this is is hotel is a inside of a club area
