It was a cold day and the room was set at 58° when we arrived. It took quite awhile for the room to reach a comfortable temperature. Was not a relaxing or welcoming way to start an evening. Once the room warmed up the bathroom door had to left open because it remained chilly in the bathroom the entire first night.

When I checked in the staff didn’t seem to be welcoming and friendly. The staff assigned me to a handicap room. Exhausted and carrying all my belongings, with my dinner getting cold, I returned to the lobby to address the issue. The front desk staff claimed that I had booked a handicap room, which was untrue, and insisted it was one of the last available rooms with two queen beds. I explained that I hadn’t booked a handicap room and didn’t need one, politely asking for a change. She seemed irritated by my request but eventually gave me a key to a different room. However, when I got to the new room, my key didn’t work. Frustrated, I had to haul my belongings back to the lobby once again. When I informed her about the issue, she admitted that she had assigned me to the wrong room and then laughed. The entire experience was incredibly unprofessional and disappointing.
