This is a lovely manor, and although signs of age are evident, it appears the owners are working towards complete restoration.
It's close to plenty of what Minden has to offer, very convenient to stores, gasoline. I'm here for a church conference and I'm just 3 minutes away. I was able to select what I want for breakfast; hope it's good.

Thank you for the wonderful review! The Manner, built in 1910, is a historic building that will always require ongoing restoration and maintenance. We're grateful that you recognized our continuous efforts to preserve and improve it. In 2021, Huffman Management acquired the property and undertook a comprehensive restoration of this grand historic inn. This included revitalizing the grounds, replacing damaged wood throughout the building's façade, repainting all exterior woodwork on the main building, and replacing the damaged wood on the carriage house and garage. Our latest project is adding a greenhouse, Now that our solar panel project is complete, as we continue with our commitment to operating an environmentally responsible business. The interior renovation was quite extensive, but we are proud of the produce we now can offer. We truly appreciate your acknowledgment of these improvements. We look forward to hosting you again on your next trip to Minden, Louisiana.

Amazing Bed and Breakfast
Posted 9 Sep 2023 on HotelsHusband and I loved it! Beautiful bed and breakfast and very friendly and helpful host. The room was very nice and big and the bed was very comfortable. Would highly recommend- in fact several friends and family say they want to stay there at some point.

The inn keepers were wonderful, very nice people. The breakfasts were delicious. The home was lovely. But the overall temperature of the house was frigid, so dress warmly.

Thank you for the kind words. We work hard at the manner to exceed our gas expectations. I’m sorry that you found the Home to be on the cool side. We do have additional space heaters available for those that are cold natured and all of the upstairs rooms are controlled on a thermostat that is available to all of the guests upstairs is maintained during the winner at 68 and downstairs is maintained at a balmy 72.

Above and Beyond!!

The grounds, the home and it's furnishings and amenities, the delicious made-to-order breakfast and the warmth and friendliness of the proprietors! The Huffman House is an absolute treasure with a capital T!!! We cannot recommend it more ! Kudos !

Posted 20 Dec 2022 on HotelsThis was the most AMAZING stay I have had in 10 years! The Hospitality Cannot be better! We stayed mid December and I felt like I was in my own Christmas movie🎁❤️
The breakfast was phnominal! Also not beaten anywhere we could have eaten
Comfortable bed/lots of pillows cozy room/home atmosphere💗Very safe! Nostalgic/Historic! There is nothing I could improve about our stay🙌
More than a weekend stay; A blessed memory and experience 😍
We will be back as often as we can 🥰
