Very easy to find after getting off the shinkansen at Kyoto station. Checking in and out was done via a machine kiosk (for some reason it couldn't read any of my credit cards, but I could pay by cash)

Very close to Kyoto Station, so easy to get to and travel from. The check-in process is automated via kiosk but this process is confusing as the design of the walk-in area does not make it clear what you should do (there are staff at desks) and the area's aren't labelled well. Due to how busy the hotel was, it was hard to get an elevator. The room was large but that was due to a free upgrade and the bathroom was clean and spacious. Good amenities.

Self check in/out was fast/cost efficient but staff had the "ho-hum, matter of fact" attitude. There was no graciousness or appreciation, which quite unusual for Japan. Superior twin room only had 1 drawer for our personal items & resorted to obtaining 2 cardboard boxes from Aeon store to remedy the issue.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, friendly and safe. Only down side , we weren’t able to get extra towels we tried calling down to the front desk but no one picked up.
