I was really happy- Super close to Dotonbori

Pros: The staff were very helpful, coin laundry convenient, location was incredibly close to Dotonbori attractions-truly walkable, bed comfortable and all the amenities I needed-kettle, towels, mini fridge were there, and a wonderfully updated spanking new bathroom. I didn’t use but the rental bikes outside looked convenient. Stores and restaurants and everything close by. No bad smell or noises bothered my stay. The staff went above and beyond to help me, despite a slight language barrier, with a local booking I was needing to call to confirm. 10/10 for service! Cons: if you’re a stickler for new/perfect/updated you will notice the hotel is a little tired-looking but it was clean and comfortable and great value, the breakfast was not to my liking at all (lukewarm, minimal)the rice, soup and coffee were ok but I wouldn’t recommend it.

Only allowed one room key for 2 people, room key required for lights/power in the room and for the elevator, so couldn't leave without both of us. Also no option for more than one pillow per bed

Bathroom drain was clogged and flooded after taking a bath. Hotel is located in a cheap red light district with little to no streetlight, which felt unsafe to walk after dark.

Everything was good. Only thing is, I paid for two people and only received one card to enter our room. Normally this wouldn’t be an issue but lights won’t turn on unless you keep key.

Gets the job done

Basic business hotel. Room fits bed and a tv. No frills but for 60$ a night it gets the job done. Staff is nice and they spoke English.

Would highly NOT recommend!

Would not recommend this hotel. Location was quite difficult to find and inconvenient to places, no shops around either. People at front desk were rude and we were not greeted or acknowledged, most of them did not speak English. Although they provide slippers, they looked old and used. I had to go buy myself some new slippers, and was surprised the bottom of the slippers were filthy dirty after 1 use, meaning the floor must be so dirty. Daily house keeping was not consistent, they did not clean/tidy your room every day despite putting out the clean room sign or leaving early. There was once when I went back up to my room, I was surprised to find the room door opened, and assumed someone would clean the room. When I got back during the evening, they did not tidy the room. Why then did they open the door?? Hotel may look nice from the pictures, but service and standards are very poor. Stay away.
