Sarasa Dotonbori ended up being a great choice for our family to stay in Osaka. The rooms are large (for Japan) and well-presented. Rooms are not cleaned daily (staff inform you as you arrive) but fresh towels etc are available from the front desk upon request.
Location was good, close to the action in Dotonbori and Kurumon Market. Nippombashi station is a short walk away too. Some good local Japanese restaurants nearby (try the Okonomiyaki place on the corner!) and lots of Chinese restaurants that seem to cater to tourists and tour groups. The local convenience stores are always great too! Recommended!

Posted 13 Aug 2024 on HotelsHotel carpet stained, even the ones in the hallways, top of headboards very dusty, room smells musky. They only had 2 machines in their laundry room, and it's right across the smoking room. Staff weren't that well attentive when you're coming in/out of the hotel to greet you. Wi-Fi with no password so not secure at all

Front desk guy was rude and bad service.
We had bad experience.
Location is not really convenient.
Never come back.
