"WOW! This is a beautiful and luxurious accommodation. You are greeted by wonderful staff who will treat you to cappuccino and cookies. Breakfast was great. Many options and very tasty. Very tastefully decorated. Very classy. Wonderful reception room to have a glass of wine. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. "

"Our stay at Gate Lodge was fabulous. The lodge itself is cozy and comfortable. It exudes an understated luxury. The grounds are equally beautiful and enjoyable, including the two adorable, very friendly alpacas. Wish we had stayed longer."

"It's an old fashioned hotel. If you feel physically limited be sure to tell them in advance; my room required stairs as the lift did not reach that level. The bathroom was fully modern. The breakfast was excellent, with kitchen orders as well as buffet. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The bar has live entertainment. The ground are spectacular, with a view of the river and falls."
