For a quick night on our way to Cleveland, this hotel couldn't have been perfect. Plus, they welcomed our Min Pin. Thank you.

The rooms were clean and the continental breakfast was great. Hot food and plenty of it.

The room was not cleaned after first night of staying. There was a bright flashing light all night right outside my room making sleep very difficult!!

Staff was GREAT! Rooms were good with 2 exceptions. The toilet was way to close to the sink and we found 1 bug in the bathroom and 2 in our room that resembled roaches but the may have been box elder bugs. Either way we will not stay there again.

We have stayed at this hotel in the past and it was decent. We were disappointed this time. It needs some definite TLC and remodeling. The carpets in hallways are faded and spotted, the door framings are all scratched and chipping, the reception area can use some updating with newer furniture and lighting. The room itself looked like it had newer wood look tile flooring but the bed was old and hard. The couch in the room was old, faded, worn and spotted. This hotel needs some serious updating and it would be a nice place to stay again. We have a student at PSU and visit the area frequently and recommend Lamar to families who don’t want to pay the inside State College high hotel rates, plus the Lamar area is nice and quaint.
