We stayed here for one night in September 2011. We loved the little wooden hut we stayed in, it was very cosy and the outside terrace area was nice. The private beach was lovely and the snorkelling was good! The only downsides to Cirucco Village were it is located a few miles out of Milazzo, no problem for us as we had a car but without a car it would have been very difficult to get to. The only other problem was that the bottom bunk bed had ants on it. This wasn't a problem as the double sofa bed and upper bunk bed had no ants and we never found any anywhere else in the room. We thought that Cirucco Village was a great place to stay and would definitely go back.

Milazzo (Sicily) Great Budget Resort - BUT quite a distance from the airport.

Posted 4 Oct 2011
If you want peace & quiet and a private beach, the Cirucco Village is great. The location is lovely, but quite far from the nearest town, certainly not walking distance. It's about a 10 minute bus journey from the town of Milazzo. Ideal if you have your own transport / hire car. We didn't and relied on the local bus which is a limited service. The first bus is at 08:05, the last at 19:05, (you can pick up a timetable from the resort's reception). Unfortunately, the restaurants don't serve dinner until about 8 pm so that means having to get a taxi back up to the resort. We had a fridge in our room at the resort, so we visited the supermarkets in town to stock up. The one restaurant in the Cirucco resort has great food but it is quite pricey compared to the ones in town. It's about a 15 minute uphill trek to catch the bus, just make sure you leave enough time. There's no bus stop, you have to hail him as he approaches. Tickets cost 1 euro 10 cents and can be bought opposite the bus stop at the port in Milazzo. Make sure you check the times of the trains or buses before travelling, as it can take almost 3 hours to get there from the airport and public transport tends to finish early in remote parts. Taxi's are not cheap. There is a coach service that runs from Catania Airport to Milazzo and this takes 2 hours and is much cheaper at about 12 euros. Breakfast at the resort is basic but nice. The staff are helpful but you'll need an English Italian phrase book.

never again

Not client friendly at all. Pictures are very misleading. The rooms are so small, they look like a doll house. No breakfast was offered, eventhough it was stated. We had to be led by flashlight to our room and walk down 40 steps with all of our luggage. not a fun experience.

Too small

Posted 27 Jun 2010 on Hotels
Reception and parking were high on a hill and you had to walk down many many steps to get to the beach area where your bugalow was located. The bugalow was extremely small and crowded; the shower was cramped with cleaning supplies, buckets and mops. Being on the beach with a patio and picnic table was nice, but the bugs were too bad to sit our. On the positive side, the restaurant was nice with good food and fair prices and the staff were wonderful.

Fantastic location

The room was more like a Wendy house, however, you could step out and be on the beach in seconds. fantastic views and this compensated the accomodation as we would stay outside on the verranda and watch the sun go down. I would recommend this place for a family. Be aware of the jelly fish though. The staff are very helpful and some do speak English

Sehr nette Bungalows direkt am Kiesstrand

Posted 28 Sep 2015
