This property was booked in error, which was caught immediately thereafter. We contacted Expedia to help with the cancellation and reimbursement. Over the course of 2 weeks we were told that there was nothing that could be done and that the full, 3-day penalty would be charged even though the hotel knew that the room would never be used. We also contacted the hotel directly to confirm and tried to negotiate the penalty down and the hotel said no. No willingness to assist/poor customer assistance and would not let us speak to management. (they said management was aware of the situation but no manager was referred to us despite our requests.)
