Had a 12 hour layover between flights and decided to get some rest at a nearby hotel. The hotel is reasonably priced, clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. There is a free shuttle bus that will take you to the hotel and back to the airport. Will be overnighting there on the way back.

The hotel itself was nice, the location felt very industrial. I had an early flight so while in the shower at 3am the hotel lost power, thankfully there was emergency lighting. Not the hotel’s fault but certainly inconvenient. I had requested a transfer to the airport, when I went to check out I was told there was a problem and they had called a taxi. 3 of us ended up in 1 taxi and when we arrived at the airport 1 passenger grabbed his luggage and left the 2 of us to pay. The hotel would have been better served and provided a better service if they had arranged for payment to the taxi since they were doing refunds to those who paid for the transfer. It would have made more sense financially to the hotel and less hassle to the guests, especially since I had a card and the other passenger had euro.

Although we had pre booked 2 rooms 2 weeks earlier, the hotel had double booked the rooms, we had to use the Holiday inn express down the road but they did not provide us a partial refund as the hotel rooms costs are different. Very disappointed and I’m a Diamond Elite IHG memeber.
