The staff's hospitality is fantastic. The additional amenities are great -- the massage chairs after a full day of walking and exploring was a life saver. The hotel is conveniently located near a train station. As my first time in Japan (and first timetraveling abroad) Hotel Niwa Tokyo set a high standard for me.

Very nice hotel. It is very close to the train station, marts and 7-11. Staff is extremely kind and helpful. I do not recommend doing your laundry here... The dryer absolutely does not work. After two cycles we finally gave up and hung our laundry in our room to dry.

Even though this hotel is in Ginza walking distance from the popular shopping malls and stores (Shiseido flagship, Muji, Uniqlo, Donki, etc), it's located on a smaller side street that was quiet and not too busy. We were able to walk to Tsukiji fish market too and easily bus and train everywhere else. Hotel staff were amazing and so helpful. The hotel breakfast was also one of our best meals in Tokyo.

"Shuttles to and from NRT is good to have, makes it very convenient. Family Mart in the hotel is also convenient to spend your last yens. Staff very polite obviously, not unfriendly nor friendly.
