I stayed here for about a week and had a nice experience. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom had a full tub and shower, which was nice. There was a large selection of channels available on the tv, too, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is located in a residential area, and there’s not much around it in terms of shops and restaurants. If you don’t have a car, it’s not the most convenient location unless you get a cab. It also has a funny layout. To get to my room, I had to go upstairs, down a hall, back downstairs, and then down another hall, which was interesting. The beds were fine. Not the most comfortable I’ve encountered, but certainly not awful by any means. I’m a tall guy, and the shower faucet was below my face. Not a problem, just funny. The sink was low, so when I bent down to brush my teeth, I did hit my head on the shelf above, so tall folks, be aware.
There is a restaurant on the premises. I only had breakfast there, so I can’t speak to any other meals, but it seemed popular. The breakfast was okay. It’s not your typical buffet; you can choose between like three full, hot meals or cereal, yogurt, and fruit. The meals are traditional British food. They weren’t my favorite, but that’s personal preference and not a reflection of quality.
I chose this place because it was the closest to an event I was attending, and were that to happen again, I wouldn’t have any qualms about staying here again.

Rooms were a little dated but the bathroom was fairly modern. Not a ton of food options that are walkable in the area. Breakfast was okay. Staff was friendly.
