"The hotel has been closed since November 2017 , we had to find alternative accommodation late at night after a long drive , you need to contact me urgently re a refund plus costs , I am currently still on holiday and will be in a position to resolve this very disappointing experience next week Monday , how on earth can you advertise a hotel , take my money in advance , when the establishment has been closed for 5 months ! "They are doing renovations at the property, and that took away from the stay. Also, they are new at this and there is room for improvement. I am sure when renovations are done, and they are more accustomed to running it. Things will be much better."

"Esme, Andrew & Conny’s hospitality was amazing! We stayed for 5 nights in 2 different rooms, the standard room then the Luxury cave suite (both were great but the cave suite is out of this world! Jason, the chef is so passionate about food & that really comes through in the meals, the food here is truly lovely. All staff were so friendly & the local tips provided by Andrew set us up to ensure our time was spent perfectly whilst staying in Drakensberg. The farm has loads of cute animals,...

"Could see that this used to be great (when photos were taken) While it was was mostly clean, there was a lot that didn’t live up to the promise or what we paid for. Lots of stains too. The bed linen is specifically tired and needing replacement - in no ways can it be called premium. There was no Wi-Fi and no bathtub - also both mentioned in the property description for the superior cottage (Crane Cottage). Convenient for the hockey festival at Michaelhouse and beautiful views but can’t say...

"The location was perfect for the purpose of my trip. Staff - super friendly and extremely helpful at all times. I can't rate them high enough! Accommodation was adequate. Very dark room - needs some more lighting. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom - needs a re-vamp. Load -shedding was well managed. "

"Place was beautiful. However I am disappointed as the shower was terrible. Being Gas powered the water was ice old or extremely hot for 15 seconds. Ive reported the matter the person in charge of which I received no apology and i was told that the shower will be working perfectly the next morning. And not to my surprise it was not working. The water had sand as per the pics i will upload. The shower was ice cold and both my kids are now ill from standing in the shower waiting for hot water...
