Lovely hotel, with great parking, walkable to shops, pubs and sightseeing.
Excellent staff, incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond.
Barman was very patient with our group who wanted a night cap after our friends got married. Thank you!

Excellent 2nite break
Posted 29 Jul 2024 on HotelsSuperb. As gold members upgraded to Queens Suite where Queen Elizabeth 1st stayed. Excellent. Sarah Stacey, General Manager and her fabulous team made our whole stay very memorable, Facilities in hotel all great. Location excellent. Hope to return.

Characterful Hotel
Posted 15 Jul 2024 on HotelsCharming country hotel. Lots of original features, decorated to suit age of property. Very clean and spacious room, full of antiques and character, very quirky. Restaurant food and service excellent. Spa treatment amazing. A place to indulge and relax. The staff were very friendly and efficient throughout our stay.

Poor breakfast
Posted 10 Jul 2024 on HotelsHotel is fine. Decor different. Spa small but ok. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast very dissapoonting. Buffet very poor. Ordered eggs on toast which took 30 minutes to arrive and wasn’t worth the wait!
