The Backyard Garden Oasis was quiet and secluded. We enjoyed walking along the quiet street in the morning. The owner is a helpful host.

Very nice stay overall. However, my bed was very lumpy and hard at the same time (not sure how that works), and there were skylights directly over my bed with no way to block the light. So, I was awake much earlier than I wanted each day.

Hi Rudy, I just tested the bed myself and although I didn't experience any lumpiness, I will take your word for it and flip the mattress. It is a firm mattress. I hope you will stay with us again when the weather is good for motorcycling!

Cute guest house with beautiful gardens, we had a hummingbird join us for coffee each morning on the deck. Enjoyed our stay off the beaten path!

3 days stay in Middletown CA
Posted 11 Jun 2023 on HotelsA very pleasant stay. Greta the owner was very nice and helpful, the cottage was cute and the bed extremely comfortable. This is probably the very best value for money accommodation in the area and we would stay there again. Only downside for me was the wifi was very weak.

We are constantly upgrading our wifi as upgrades become available. But we are in a rural area and rely upon satellite service. Thanks for your visit!

Quiet with lots of trees and an exceptionally friendly dog named Ollie! (we all love dogs!) Just enough space for the 3 of us to hang out and sleep when not out in the nearby towns. Only thing was the small additional bed for the 3rd person was not very comfortable. (very hard) I brought an extra comforter so made it a bit more comfortable.

Family & pet friendly
Posted 5 Jan 2022 on HotelsWe had a wonderful 3 day stay. This is the only pet friendly place to stay in Middletown. So it worked out great as we have family there and had a big reunion. Clean , good breakfast and good parking

Cute, friendly place to stay. Greta was very helpful in answering all our questions and giving excellent recommendations. She even made sure I had a gluten free muffin for breakfast.
