The B&B is located close to the freeway and the bridge connecting island Fyn (Odense) to mainland Denmark. It has very nice grounds, but only half of the rooms are as described, with a covered patio and a view. We were unlucky enough to get one of the other rooms, recently renovated, quite basic but very clean and practicality oriented: bare walls, the bed, a small open wardrobe, a little table and two chairs, a tiny sink in the bathroom, and another small table with chairs exposed to the elements in front of the room, with a huge pile of firewood blocking the view. Sound insulation is poor; one can hear the people next door and the street/freeway noise. The excellent WiFi and the breakfast room with a fridge, free coffee and some cold beverages for purchase were a great plus. The place has a lot of potential, but only the rooms with the view are worth the money.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to By the Bridge Bed and Breakfast. The property is more beautiful than the pictures can show. The owners, Jan and Jennifer, are gracious, responsive, and helpful. The amenities are prefect, from having coffee in our room, comfortable beds, a spacious, very clean room, heated bathroom floor, a shared refrigerator for our picnic supplies, to having a lovely garden and garden house to enjoy. We hope to come back!

Beautiful countryside apartment, great host
Posted 9 Sep 2018 on HotelsWe very much enjoyed our stay here. The area is very beautiful and peaceful with animals and birds around. The room was spacious and comfortable with a modern bathroom and good sized shower. We were able to use a fridge shared with other guests which we really appreciated. The host Jan was very welcoming and helpful. The nearby town of Middelfart which is by the sea was in a beautiful setting with good food options. If you like being in a peaceful location and don't mind not being in a town this is a great option.
