The staff is extraordinary and could have not been nicer. The facility a little tired but fine. Breakfast at restaurant was superb.

I had a great time at The Gate Hotel. Hotel was beautiful, my room was super specious, wonderful staff, great location, quiet, nice pool and jacuzzi. Everything my son and I hoped for. Beach is only blocks away. It's not on the beach but it doesn't matter since just across the street, anyway.

Close to beach and sites are walkable. The hotel staff is great, rooms are pretty clean, could use some upkeeping. the noise level is high. The windows let in a lot of street noise in the middle of the night.

Staff were super from check in to check out. Room was spotless, comfortable bed and pillows.
Short walk to the beach. Easy to access the whole SOBE area, great to go out walking and generally enjoy the whole beach area.
