the staff was amazing!!! the area was little shady but the staff made you feel very safe. Its definitely a gem !!

There were crack**** sleeping outside on the sidewalk and such. The guy taking us to our room walked into a room where there was people sleeping because he knew all the codes. We slept with a chair under our door handle so no one could come in. Extremely unsafe

Hello, Thank you for staying with us at the Dunns-Josephine. In every major city in America you will see homeless. We choose not to weaponize their conditions no matter what the circumstance. We have been open 5 years in downtown Miami and not one of our guests has ever had a negative encounter.Our building is gated and safe monitored by cameras and staff. The staff were amazing. I love the location also. The room was clean and very nicely decorated. Thanks to the great staff!

to be fair they are try to revitalize the neighborhood. what stands out is the friendless of the staff members. the treated us quite warmly. I hope I get her name right Janice a very caring person who made us feel welcomed

Not a safe area at all to stay!! The staff at the hotel were very very helpful it’s just unfortunate it is in the wrong area!! We paid way too much for this place considering we were ordered to evacuate from our home in Fort Myers due to hurricane Milton!!
