False advertising: no WiFi
Posted 6 Dec 2017
Pros: Quiet area, clean, firm bed, has kitchen, dining room, living room, has all necessary utensils and dishware, shower drains well, two strong AC units,
Cons: Get WiFi internet or don't say you have it. Replace bathroom fixtures. Make sure everything's in working order including hot water before guest arrive
Location: Downtown probably 45 min walk. There are nearby restaurants with free wifi. Carry a flashlight if walking at night. Scattered showers.
Pros: Quiet area, clean, firm bed, has kitchen, dining room, living room, has all necessary utensils and dishware, shower drains well, two strong AC units, friendly manager.
Cons: No WiFi, bathroom a bit old, some ants, slightly lumpy bed, initially no hot water, not walking distance to downtown, loud AC units.
False advertising about free WiFi. There is no internet connection at all at the hotel. Also, airport transfer is $20 each way, not the list roundtrip.
I was looking for the cheapest place with free wifi and own bathroom. Even though there were no reviews, I was traveling alone and have a pretty big tolerance so I took a chance and booked it. Arranged airport pickup via Expedia messages.
The manager Merling was at the airport to greet me with her driver. Once at the hotel, I found out no internet. She offered to help me setup a sim card for data/wifi hotspots if I got one from town. I declined. There was no hot water the first night, I left a note about it. It was not fixed when I returned the second night, I was too tired so took another cold shower, at least Palau is hot. Called the manager the next morning and people come over immediately to fix it, they needed to reset the breaker and that fixed the heater.
There are ants here and there, sometimes they get on the bed. No big deal for me.
Bathroom is clean but old. Rust stains, some calcium build up. Kitchen appliances are new or fairly new.
Carry umbrella if walking outside, and flashlight at night.

Traveler's beware!

Pros: Nothing good to mention here
Cons: Owner should clearly mention that this is a converted apartment to hotel where the bathroom is shared with other guests.
Location: Away from everything in town.
THIS IS NOT A HOTEL -- it is a 2 bedroom apartment converted to "hotel". The living room was turned into "front desk". Apartment bedroom #1 is the twin bed "hotel" room A. The other apartment bedroom, is room B with the queen bed. The apartment kitchen is the breakfast area and the area between the kitchen and the "front desk" is the hotel lobby. And that folks, is how you now have a hotel. The single bathroom is shared between the 2 hotel guests that choose to stay in this apartment. If you're shy, you may feel a little inconvenience to have to go thru the "hotel" lobby and front desk to go the the bathroom... There are several other guest houses or hotels in town where you get your own bathroom for the same cost as this one or less. Now if you have a party and want to book both "hotel" rooms, it may be convenient as long as you don't mind sharing the bathroom. This way you get the entire "hotel" to your self! You've been warned...

We apologize for your bad experience in six80 hotel. Actually you might have misunderstanding regarding few stuffs. The bathrooms are not shared with guest. We always tries our level best to satisfy guest and hope we might get opportunity to serve you again in future. You just came and left without staying in the place and predicted lot of stuff. It would have been better if you have stayed 1 night which was booked for you to understand the things clearly. Anyway your review matters a lot for us and we try to manage this issue seriously.
