Booked a room with VIP Platinum status, got a room in which you enter through bathroom (literally, door opens to a sink, shower is on the right from the door). Bed is so small that my spouse and me could barely fit. There is no closet, just a bar with hangers behind the tv (!?)
Very unVIP experience.
Amazing location for shopping in Metzingen though.

no frills accommodations
Posted 15 Feb 2023 on HotelsChecked in on Sunday, no restaurant or food or beverage service available. Did online check in but still had to go through check in procedure upon arrival. Rooms are very small, nothing special, view at wall to another building.

Warning!!! Please read the check in policy of this property. Expedia will let you book the property and if you are checking in after business hours you will not be able to check in. There will be no one staffing the Hotel after business hours. Hotel will not refund your stay. The customer service after our experience was also a great disappointment. Not recommended for last minute bookings.

I am very sorry with the experience you had with our check-in process. As we explained in both our email to you and by the clear information with our 'after-hours' Check-In process on our Homepage and coupled with the security telephone number which you could have called we feel that this should be more than adequate to gain entry to the hotel and we rarely have any issues with this process.Once you contacted us, and after our discussion, we agreed and offered you a voucher for the night you missed which you said you would collect from Reception but failed to pick it up.It is a pity and unfortunate that you initially contacted Expedia rather than contacting us first as we would always endeavour to rectify any issues immediately and efficiently and as you will appreciate, we should be given the chance to do so.
