The sound proofing on the windows is excellent and if you are in a room at the front of the building you need it. "Great place to stay in Basel. Close to public transportation. The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed had all basic amenities for a family of 4. A full size kitchen , washer dryer was awesome. The AC was not that good but a fan in the room helped. It would have been great to have a fan in each room. We kept the windows slightly open to let some fresh cool air in at night. Living room had 3 sofa beds - instructions provided to allow them to be flattened. Apartment was clean. "Quiet, comfortable apartment conveniently located. Access to all the sites in Basel are easily accessable, either on foot or using the trams stops just steps away. The apartment was spacious and included all the necessary amenities. We particularly appreciated the in-suite laundry after being on the road for some time. "Great location - very easy to either walk or take a tram. The apartment was clean and in good nick. Kitchen had enough equipment and was clean. Although the websit said they would clean only once a week, the cleaners came everyday with new towels and tidyed up. The apartment we had faced the main road and as it was HOT, we were exposed to the noise of the street when the windows were open. Definitely a good place. "
