"Beautiful house, traditional with great views from the private terrace. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, big fridge, and lots of towels. 5 minutes walk from the port, with a few stairs towards the house, and in the entrance. Easy communication with a very polite and helpful host"

"The villa is very convenient for a big family, with all the amenities anyone would need, very quiet, relaxing and view is spectacular, our only difficulties were that we had a very over loaded 7 seaters car and was very difficult to get to the place."

"Excellent, clean and well located resort. Staff were wonderful and breakfast is very very good. The restaurant is quite good even if the prices and choices are higher and more limited than the good restaurants in the nearby marina. The shops and restaurants are easily walkable in roughly 7 minutes. The highlight is the ocean which is perfect for swimming, both clear and clean. There are plenty of spots to lay by the nice pool and down by the sea which you enter via stairs from the rock face. The rooms are ok although they are not new. Only one English Channel which is BBC News. Internet is good as is the aircon in the room. We will return."

"Beautiful property located close to the "action" yet quiet and beautifully appointed. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and the location was excellent. The rooms were very clean, the balcony gave us added space and the beds were very comfortable with soft luxurious bedding. I highly recommend this place and if I am back in Hydra I will book this again!"

"We loved our stay at Aktaion in Agistri. This is a family run hotel in a perfect location in Agistri - a short walk from the Scala port where the ferry stops. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves very good food and everything is super convenient. We enjoyed both rooms we stayed in during the trip (family room with a jacuzzi and a family room with a pool view), but better recommend the family room with a pool view. Overall we loved the stay and plan to return."

"This place is genuinely a gem, not just the hotel but the island too. Katarina and her family are so welcoming, and made the stay amazing. The hotel itself serves its purpose, the beds are comfy and the bathroom is nice and clean. I have no negative things to say about this place, the restaurant is well priced and the pool is clean. The food is phenomenal and such a large portion for the prices!! When my partner was ill, they ensured he was looked after while I went out to get him some medicine. This place is amazing and the staff are lovely, I would definitely come back xx "
