3rd time visiting, clean, tidy , nice breakfast. Staff friendly and courteous. There is no longer proper beach due to a big storm although you can still swim in the sea directly from hotel crossing a little pebble/shingle. Rooms could do with a refurbishment as could do pool area and loungers. However, price v value means still worth a stay. Short walk into harbour and village with nice atmosphere and places to eat. A bit remote best with car to visit surrounding area. Enjoy !

The Francisco is clean , pleasant staff, hearty breakfasts , reasonable wifi. Nice pool but no longer a beach area as shown in pictures. Winter storms have changed the beach area altogether removing it. Facilities or lack off is what lets this basic hotel down. Rooms are reasonable size, fridge, tv (local channels) , balcony, hot water with simple shower. Beds are rock hard and no comfort , a big let down. You will find yourself taking short walk to town/harbour to eat and get atmosphere although hotel next door does have a dance night/disco once a week you can enjoy. Overall get out and see the local sites. To all that hotel thank you but please upgrade the beds

We were unaware this is a 'quiet' property, with periods of the day / night observed for quiet, which seemed a bit of a challenge with young children initially but in the end it had no impact. Definitely needed to have some Greek language , even google translate was not always appropriate for communicating with staff, however it is Greece and so what did we expect, did not hear any English people all week which was novel, and we did not mind, not a tourist area and so other than eat out, there is nothing to do, but we got on with the holiday and had a really lovely time, a car is essential, taxi's are expensive and no negotiations! The views out of the windows either end of the hall that runs through the middle of the apartments and of the sea are amazing. The beach has been ruined by rocks and items that have been brought in from the tide, so barely accessible only as a means to get into the sea, so shoes suitable for rocks and wearing in the sea are required. Francesco and his mum were pleasant, one of them always there, although the language barrier minimised conversation beyond smiles and the two words we learned, Hello and Thank you! Because the pool was lovely, a good size and cool in the very hot weather and there was a beach not to far away, and we were very happy to be together as a family, we had a fabulous holiday.

For the budget conscious traveler this is a great place. The breakfast alone was worth the rate! The hostess was very welcoming. The room had sea view and a big balcony! Bed was comfortable! Highly recommend if you are looking for a good value stay!

The hotel is pleasent along with staff (although English speakers are limited). Views are limited but room 18 is corner & view to sea. Pool is nice and sea/beach to rear. Food is ok but better and more selection with tavernas in Agios Andreas. Walk up hill to Logga nice to visit and eat. Agios And is small but nice served by local bus to Kalamata but limited time table. We ended up car hire for 4 days with company delivering to hotel. So you’re a bit isolated but equally may enjoy peace & quiet. Nightlife is limited so again don’t come with painting the town night out attitude. This is still unspoiled. Visit Kourouni , Methoni and Messane you won’t be disappointed if you like history & views. The waterfalls are ok but have proper footwear. This is a lovely area. My acid test would I come back , certainly area but to a hotel that has more comfortable beds , more facilities and more modern bathroom/shower.
