Had a great stay here. Owners very friendly and spoke English.The water pressure in shower was amazing.15 minute walk into centre. Uber eats delivered to us without any problem. Merida people very friendly and go out of their way to help!

The property was very dirty. It looked like they had not swept and mopped in ages. They had a severe ant problem. They were even in the closet! The bed was very smelly. I'm not sure if they actually cleaned the sheets and blanket after every guest. It was about a 23-25 minute walk to the main plaza and ubers were about 60- 115 pesos to the main plaza. Property owner was very nosy and that was a bit unsettling. They did not provide much information on how to get around or any information on what was around. We had to explore and ask around. Locals aren't very helpful in trying to help travelers. Overall the biggest concern was the cleanliness of the property and the ant issue.

Dear Zuri, Thank you for your review. Just to clarify, the units are cleaned everyday by staff meant just for that, every unit then is supervised by the hosts. If there was any complain about bedsheets, cleaning request, etc. The hosts didn't hear of them while you were staying. The walking distance to the main square depends on the physical condition of each visitor, some of them have even commented it's only about a 10 minute walk, we usually take the map app as reference. We encourage you to check the location of your prefered places before booking them.

Fantastic stay and great value for money. Very clean and comfy bed. Coffee maker and all basics to make a non-complex meal. Really kind and sweet host. I’d stay again

When we arrived there, we were informed that there had been a problem with our reservation and that the appartment was unavailable although we had booked more than a month in advance. We were offered an alternative elsewere, but the place had poor reviews. We ended up choosing to book somewhere else last minute which was more expensive that what we originally planned.

The hosts were lovely people. The property was not exactly as we expected so it wasn't quite suitable for our particular needs. We felt very safe in the neighbourhood and there are some fairly decent choices for dining or groceries.

Best value in Merida

This place is going to blow your mind. I stayed at several places in Merida including a 5 star and I think this was still my favorite. Such a great value, quiet area, and very clean. You feel like you have your own apartment here definitely recommend
