A very quiet and peaceful large property. Beautiful pool area. It is all like a well-tended jungle, and all walkable to the Centro. A wonderful weekend getaway from work in Merida.

Posted 6 Jan 2021 on HotelsThis is not the typical hotel. It's a beautiful space surrounded by the nature. No TV, but you don't need it. Attendants were super nice and helpful. My wife would have preferred to have more or bigger pillows, and I found the bed a little hard, but those small details didn't really affect our experience. It's located a bit outside main streets, but allowed us to walk around this beautiful town.

Posted 22 Feb 2019 on HotelsThe hotel grounds are jungle like which was lovely and the pool is nice. The hotel itself feels run down. Breakfast was very slow and the food was ok, nothing great. We paid for two rooms with a king and a twin and one of the rooms we got had only one double bed. I asked about it and was told all the rooms cost the same and they could not accommodate my request despite having reserved it. One room had a mosquito net over the bed. The other room did not and there were a lot of mosquitos in the room at night. I’d recommend Convento hotel over this one. My friend stayed there and it was better overall.
