My gold earring disappeared in my 36 hrs stay and no one is been able to answer me. Unfortunately there is no safe in the room.

Truly boutique hotel in downtown Merida

Had a great time with the family, the owner and staff made sure we had all we needed for that. Definitely recommend it for couples or families if looking for an upscale and relaxed atmosphere

Very expensive for what it offers!

The hotel is recently rebuild and the owners are very nice. But the quality compared to the prices is terrible... first of all our room was missing a safebox, then when we returned from dinner we found a huge cacaroach in the bathroom. I called reception to ask them to come kill it... but after 5 minutes waiting I decided to do it my self! The morning after, we tried to do breakfast there... we were expective a nice buffet or something similar to that but nope... you take a seat and the ladies start bringing you what they have... I ask for an Espresso, but incredibly they don't have Espresso Machine or jams or any pastry at all... only bred and eggs... and considering that we don't eat eggs... We then decided to have breakfast outside. Next day they hadn't change our bath towels or our bed linen and also forgot to replace the welcome waters... So, overall absolutely not a good experience. And way too expensive I don't suggest staying here.

Dear Eduardo, We are quite surprised at your review. With regards to the breakfast, you left early every morning before breakfast was served. Our breakfast which is a full american breakfast (includes pastries, breads, eggs any style, homemade jams and fresh fruit and fresh juice) is served from 8am-10am. We offer cappuccinos, french press coffee and herbal teas and make every effort to make sure we accommodate all our guests. Breakfast is included in the rate and our guests have always been very happy with the food and the service. The hotel is environmentally conscious - green. That's why guests request that the sheets be changed daily if they do not want the same sheets for two nights in a row. Additionally, towels left on the rack are not to be washed per hotel protocol and its environmental focus. We can always change and wash daily all items if that's the guests preference Our hotel is also very very clean and we have never had an issue with a roach, however, there is humidity here in Merida and sometimes they get in. My apologies. We had an issue with the safe box a couple of days before you came and this has now been replaced. I wish you well. Sunita Martin Owner
