Great find, fantastic value.
Posted 23 Jul 2019 on HotelsGreat find for a stop off travelling back from the South, not far from Beaune. Large triple room, a mixture of the old and new decor, with a very comfortable bed, and immaculately clean bathroom. Restaurant on the terrace was fantastic, so glad we ate at the hotel, lots of choice and an amazing wine list. Would definitely recommend and would book again.

The staff were welcoming, and helpful. We were given a garden room, without having to ask and that just added to the charm of our stay. Both dinner - in the garden- and breakfast next morning were of excellent quality.

Pretty hotel in wine making village
Posted 8 May 2019 on HotelsThis is a lovely hotel in the wine making village of Mercurey. The room was comfortable and the service and welcome pleasant and helpful. In the restaurant there was a good selection of food as well as very good local wine. Breakfast was tasty and there was a wide choice of food. We were able to park off road. The village is quiet and picturesque and close to the motorway (about 10-15 minutes) making it an excellent short stop over. We enjoyed our brief stay and will probably return.

Interesting place to Stop in Burgundy
Posted 18 Oct 2017
Pros: Its location in the Burgundy - we were travelling back to the UK
Cons: The village is desperately quiet (no bar, few people), but has no shortage of vineyards of high quality. The hotel is a welcome retreat.
Location: It's in the great to visit the vineyards of this part of the Burgundy region
We were travelling back to the UK from the Languedoc and wanted to buy some good wine. Wonderful scenery and some great vineyards.

Would stay again
Posted 20 Sep 2017 on HotelsGreat hotel with fantastic restaurant. Our only problem is that after we left we got a phone call from another guest who accused us of hitting his car on the way out. I did not appreciate the accusation nor, that the hotel gave him our phone number.
