Pet friendly Hotels in Mercedes, Alajuela Province

"Overall i had a decent experience. The hotel was clean. Room service changed my sheets and stuff everyday although one day i put a do not disturb sign on and they still came in! My room also had no microwave or mini fridge so that sucked. The tv had a decent amount of channels in English. The views out the window of my room were pretty much non existent.(i was on 2nd floor) the shower was cool although it had no way to actually close the glass of the shower. The beds were a bit firm but i slept...

"Located in a quiet area. Staff speak English and are very welcoming. several fast food and other food options available near by. The park is across the street and is very well maintained. "

"We had our own room but a shared bathroom. The patio area was beautiful and peaceful. The area around the hotel was nice, with a nice park and some good choices for restaurants."

"A really nice place to stay, with very personable and helpful staff, especially for both the economical rate, and the convenient location relative to the US Embassy (for those who have appointments or business there). It's also a short drive to a huge Multi-Plaza Mall, the CIMA Hospital, the National Stadium at La Sabana Park, and other important places. Very comfortable beds, great bathroom facilities, and nice dining area and garden, fish and turtle pond, etc. Not perfect . . . but almost :) ...

"Hotel was beautiful, clean, quality bath products, hot showers from a hot water tank, recycling bins in the common area of our floor, gathering space with sofas in a common area on our floor. Some of the artwork had images with racial stereotypes of Black people, which made me a bit uncomfortable. We didn't feel any racial hostility from any of the staff or other guests (one of us is Black). The neighborhood was very amenable for going on a quiet walk. There is a lovely park a few blocks down...
