This is a wonderful hotel in Merano. I was very pleased with the decision to stay here. Amazing staff, clean hotel, decent wifi, and the best breakfast among the other hotels that I stayed in. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Very friendly and courteous reception. Albeit somewhat dated (carpet, chair) the room was clean and well maintained. Full breakfast buffet was very well presented and plentiful with excellent personnel. Checking-in and out was seamless. Less than 10-minutes stroll from the Merano train station and around 8-minutes to the historic city centre core where countless cafes and various restaurants could be found. Overall, the Grand Hotel Bellevue contributed to my enjoyable Merano stay.

Hotel is super central. Staff is very kind and friendly. Room are spacious, only drawback: didn't find a fridge in the room or a way to control AC.

Nostalgic but not comfortable. At least not if temperatures in room remain above 24 C all night, and your choice is to listen to drunk youth and the public bis stop service under your opened window all night, or swelter in the sweet room deodorant all night. A four star hotel without aircon or ventilation, without restaurant, swimming pool or fitness room, without in-room fridge or coffee/tea facilities, ironing board, WiFi working at dial-up speed,...? It may be a nostalgic trip back in time, but does not make for a great night on your trip. Grand appearance of former glory, albeit faded, and ambitious staff cannot make up for the lack of investment over the last few decades. Enjoy a decent breakfast and the personal service, and appreciate even more the mod cons your next stay at an up-to-date 4 star property has to offer.
