"Great stay. Interesting arrival as you need to pull in behind the hotel in an alley to unload and check in. They have a porter for your luggage and very nice staff. Breakfast was more than ample. Staff was amazing and location cannot be beat. Parking is easy, just across the river in the Therm parking under the street. Room was more than average size and clean"

"Castel Rundegg is an old fashioned hotel in the very best sense. It is a beautiful building in a most beautiful town, with comfortable public areas and spacious well appointed bedrooms. Those who are looking for discos and fast food options might choose elsewhere, but it does offer superb cuisine, stunning gardens and an old world elegance. It also boasts extensive pool, sauna and spa treatments. We look forward to returning there."

"Good location for Merano 2000 cable car and botanical gardens. It is 3k from Merano centre and while there is a bus taking the car was more convient for us, parking on edge of town. The hotel itself is part of camping hermitage, which seems to be main focus. The hotel could use some re-imagining. For example, removing the net curtains obscuring the great view. Staff not that welcoming though this may be lack of confedence speaking English. We enjoyed our stay in area. The nearby lido is...

"Centrally located , walking distance from city center. Did not like that they did not specify parking was available for a fee !! It should be mentioned clearly "

"The apartment was large and had lots of space. Beds were very uncomfortable and we were unable to rest. Best part was the closeness to the ski mountain and going sledding. The town was super cute! "
