Nice property, but right by the train tracks with a train that goes by blaring its horn very 15 minutes during the day. Recommend you avoid it.

One of the challenges of having a location so close to Stanford, Meta, and downtown Menlo Park, is the proximity to public transportation. Despite installing sound dampening curtains and white noise machines in all our rooms, we are sorry that you still did not have a quiet night.The City of Menlo Park is currently in the process of applying for a Quiet Zone. This would eliminate the horn blowing required at all train crossings. Keeping our fingers crossed.

Excellent all the way around. Pretty property. Extensive breakfast. Nice staff. Parking can be an issue but would stay again .

The staff were very nice but we will never stay at this location again. The proximity to the train makes it impossible to get any sleep. The train blows its horn every time it goes by and there were only about 3 hours in the night that it wasn’t happening. The white noise machines, extra curtains, and earplugs are a generous offer but it does no good. Our entire family slept miserably.
