Fantastic property with everything you'd need, or thought you didn't need.... great hosts who were eager to make sure we'd settled in and had everything we needed or any help with suggestions for sight seeing (although great information book supplied). We were new to the area but found the location perfect as a base for exploring near and far. over a few days..plenty to do on your doorstep with shops and eateries with-in Melrose if you don't fancy cooking.
Will certainly be returning later in the year.

Lovely well equipped and comfortable cosy cottage. Suited us perfectly (2adults + 1 child). Claire/Donald are lovely hosts and we had a great few days in Melrose. Definitely be back.

Great accommodation near Melrose
Posted 24 Jul 2019 on HotelsVery obliging and helpful hosts. Well appointed accommodation, clean and comfortable, close to amenities and convenient transportation. Excellent wifi. Would certainly recommend Harleyburn Cottages.

Stables Cottage
Posted 16 Jun 2019 on HotelsClaire and Donald's Stables Cottage was like a home away from home. Ideally situated for touring The Borders area. High level of comfort and amenities. Great garden. Highly recommended

Clean, Quiet & Comfortable Cottage and Convenient
Posted 28 Aug 2018 on HotelsHome to home cottage and very well decorated. Lovely garden and extra helpful hosts. The Tweedbank Border train station is about 5 minutes drive from the cottage and the free Park & Ride by the station is very convenient for visiting Edinburgh. Melrose town is also very attractive. We enjoyed our stay very much.
