My room had no window, no couch (the bed was the only thing to sit on except tiny cushion stools at the bench desk), a very small tv way up near the roof. Not an ideal room to book 5 nights in. The room was very clean, the bathroom very modern, the bed very comfortable, location great, right near tram line direct to city and near Luna Park

The noise from the street between 1am and 8am is so loud on the weekends due to people out drinking and tram stops out front the traffic and then the amount of homeless people that sleep out the front makes it an uncomfortable entry to the property.

Maids came ONCE the full stay, so thats one set of fresh towels for a full week. Cleanliness was not great, especially when you find plenty of other peoples hairs around.... Walls are paper thin, so when I say you can hear everything you hear EVERYTHING. Location wise good. Everything else not. I have never felt compelled to write a bad review in my life but that week couldn’t be over quick enough.

Location OK. Spacious for a family room.

The family unit is only available on this location, on the outskirt of St. Kilda entertainment precinct. Close to Acland Street and an easy walk to the beach. About 15 minutes walk to Fitzroy Street. Unit was very clean and was quite spacious for 4 people but that makes the TV too small due to the distance. Room was not soundproof. On Saturday night, it was very noisy with people partying, yelling, laughing, etc. all night. The sofa bed was uncomfortable, mattress was too thin for our growing 15 year old boy. It needed an extra mattress. He could feel the springs through.

Parking... Terrible and no options but to wander the streets every 4 hours moving the car. Met the interesting nightlife...not safe for man or woman. Very noisy, lots of parties around, people coming and going. Fridge in the apartment needed defrosting and made a loud thrumming noise the whole time. Light rail, very noisy.

St Kilda noise

Small but clean and well cared for inside. But very noisey - late night street revelers, and the cleaners starting very early and noisily in the morning - the building's an echo-chamber. So good for young party animals and early birds, bad for those who want to sleep and feel safe.

It was what we needed it to be : a room and a bathroom. Bathroom was renovated and clean, room was small but functional, air con worked. Only problem would be the light let in the room in the morning. So, not too much of a problem..

A great rooftop view of the Palais theatre and the bay...in the heart of acland street and in the thick of the St Kilda circus. Secure off street parking and a comfy bed to boot.

Very convenient to shops and transport. We found it clean and comfortable and well lit. Loved the bathroom. We would have preferred to be on the first rather than the top level because of the stairs. Would have been good if we had realised beforehand and we would have asked.
