Lovely Riad, perfect location, cosy & comfortable
I chose this Riad for it's location, a mere 15 minute walk through the souks to the square yet extremely quiet and away from all the hustle and bustle. We booked the transfer to and from the Airport with them and it was so much easier. On arrival we were greeted by Oufa, she was so warm and friendly, gave us a map of how to get down to the square and made sure we had all we needed. The BEST meal we had during our stay was here at the Riad, absolutely delicious beef with apricots and prunes! The room was cosy and welcoming, we slept VERY well and the room was not cold - there is air con that we used after a shower and sometimes at night. Lovely shower, lots of hot water and pressure is great. Our room was just off the courtyard and it was lovely to open the doors in the morning while we had breakfast outside. Wifi signal was good in the room, breakfast was lovely and served at whatever time we woke up! The walk back in the evenings was pleasant, there is a security guard that walks you all the way to the Riad door after a certain time, we felt really safe the whole time. We will definitely be returning, hopefully soon!

3 night stay
Nice and very authentic hotel, for example there are no doors to bathroom (WC) just curtains... Hotel description is not very accurate so had to discuss some issues. Limited English, but staff very kind and helpful. We've stayed for 3 nights there.

A very good choice.
The hotel was situated about in the middle of the Medina. Nevertheless it was very quiet. Everything was quite well reachable by foot. The rooms were very nice and quite clean. The inner courtyard, where is served a very complete breakfast by very gentile people, is very, very nice and peaceful. I can recommend this staying if you want to see a lot things of the Medina in a short time.

Having low expectation will work
To start with the pics used for marketing is far from reality. Finding the place is difficult unless we take local help in finding the way. The rooms are small dingy and nothing to boost of. A iron stairways starts right at the door of the room, chances are one can trip and fall. The room we were given had no toilet doors. Breakfast has very limited choice and its the same every day. The only saving grace is the staff who are friendly and try very hard to make customers comfortable, inspite of having language barrier. For the price change this is far from value. There is a small restaurant named Witch Snack which serves good food at reasonable price, the tagine is real tasty and recommend.

Disappointing - poor service
Having read the other reviews about the hotel, I was very disappointed with my experience with Riad Dalia. Pros: - Room was clean and tidy, and quite spacious, and peaceful. - Transfer from the airport that I booked through the Riad was pretty good, and reasonably priced I thought. Cons: - The lock on the door to my room didn't work, and I couldn't lock the door any of the time I was there. I told someone at reception about this and she said she would look into it, but it was never fixed while I was there. - I was overcharged for the room, the owner repaid me some of this money in cash however with exchange rate differences I still paid more for this room than advertised. - Breakfast is offered from 8.30 - 12.30. I told their staff that I had to leave earlier, and they said they would make a packed breakfast and leave in the kitchen. There was nothing there when I left, nor was there anyone at reception that I could talk to. I had to ring them and check where to put the keys. - Reception seemed to be barely attended so I couldn't ask them any questions when I was going out, where to eat etc. - Its a Riad and its Marrakech so it can be quite tricky to find the place. Overall, this is some of the worst service that I've ever experienced(I've visited 45 countries and well over 200 cities), and I really don't see what all the good reviews were all about. Would not recommend this place for your next trip.

nice friendly and elegant
The hotel is situated in in a narrow street of the old city. Almost impossible to find for the first time. However if you call the owner sends out a boy to meet you. Next time you find it yourself. It seems that that this area is pretty safe. The owner is very friendly and helpful. His son provides transportation if needed.

Authentic feel
If you want an authentic Moroccan experience then choose a Riad. Riad Dalia was a good choice as the staff will help you with what you need. Tip: when you get out of the taxi on arrival the driver will call the Riad and have them meet you to escort you down the alleyways. Someone with a bag cart will take your bags for you but they are NOT with the Riad and will demand 100 dirhams for a 2-3 minute walk. This is about 10€ or $12 and is way too much when the shuttle costs 100 from the airport. If you do want them to help you with your bags ask them how much UP FRONT. Another tip: on the streets locals may give you something and say its free, just try. Then demand payment. Be wary.

Lovely authentic Riad in the heart of the medina -
Wonderfully attentive staff. Gorgeous room and in the heart of the medina. Make surebyoubask them to come and meet you from airport or a major intersection as you will never find it first time by yourself but that's part of the fun if being in the real deal of a Riad. Highly recommend.

Marrakech short stay.
This riad is great comfort and value. Mohammed and the girls were faultlessly accommodating. It is initially very difficult to find so ask to have a map e-mailed to you and try to arrive before nightfall otherwise you WILL get lost. It is close to the Jemaa El Fna etc. so you'll have that Marrakech buzz in no time. Ask Mohammed to book you a taxi for your ride to the airport, you'll get better than half price! Very nice indeed.

big traditional stylish room, super helpful
The owner Mohammed was very kind and went out of his way to be helpful as did the two kind and friendly sisters working there. He organised cheap transfers from the airport, advised us about things, gave us free drinks, generally made us very welcome. The hotel was clean, comfortable and cool with a great breakfast terrace with lovely views to compliment the traditional Morrocan breakfast with yummy fresh orange juice and hot pancakes along with bread, butter, jam, cheese, yogurt, tea and coffee, great! Lovely library and courtyard area, location was good and quiet at night but a couple of minutes down few little alleys take you right into the souks (market area). Safe as a lot of security guards and police at nearby museum etc adds to feeling of safety especially at night. Cant remember if there was air conditioning but was so cool inside the room we didn't need any. large room with desk and seating area and large bathroom with shower and old traditional clay bath, very atmospheric with several shuttered windows overlooking the courtyard. Cheaper options closer to the main square but this was very nice.

This riad had great character and felt very authentic. The staff were great and very helpful. Good breakfast. We stayed elsewhere at a more expensive riad on our return trip but still preferred Dalia. Great value.

Paradise on earth , FANTASTIC hotel ans service
Me and my wife had a 4 days stay at this fantastic Riad hotel, it is more like a villa, with only 5 rooms/suits so you REALLY get a personal service and you REALLY feel that you are at home. The hotel is VERY clean, VERY BEAUTIFUL , the owner, Mr Mohamed is a FANTASTIC man, does his best all the time to make sure the guest is happy. We HIGHLY recommend this beautiful fantastic Riad hotel

Riad Dalia - a beautiful haven of calm and quiet
Marrakech can be a very draining city; it’s loud, in your face. Riad Dalia is truly a beautiful haven of calm and quiet - the owner Mohamed giving wonderful service and making you feel very welcome. Riad Dalia has an artistic, authentic feel to it - indeed Mohamed is a skilled miniature artist and that comes across in the style and detail of the decor. We stayed in the Fatima bedroom on the first floor and it was delightful, nice and private whilst also overlooking the lovely interior courtyard. Breakfasts are generous - marvellous fresh orange juice, great local bread, eggs, pancakes, yoghurt, coffee etc - and served in the pretty courtyard, the elegant internal dining room, and one morning on the top terrace - overlooking the medina with the sun on our back. Lovely start to a January day! We had dinner at the Riad on the first 2 nights of our 5 night stay and both meals were delicious, traditional cuisine. And, hearing that it was my birthday on the 2nd day, Mohamed brought me with a beautiful personalised birthday cake for dessert, with candles too! A delightful touching surprise. We'd recommend booking a transfer to Riad Dalia from the airport, it’s by far the best way to ease yourself into the pace and style of Morocco and to locate the riad first time but after that it's actually quite straightforward, and barely five minutes from the souks and the rich diversity of city life. If your choice of stay is riad style - come here! I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

riad dalia marrakesh
We had wonderfull 5 days with Mohammed in his Riad. The bedroom was more beautiful than we had expected. The bed was a bit hard for my back but our host recommended a herbal cure for me. He also provided a welcome meal when we arrived and we had breakfast on the roof even though it was chilly(January) it was still stunning and very exotic. Chocolate powder on the freshly made pancakes.Yum Yum.I also had hot milk with hot choc in it. My wife had fresh coffee and freshly sqeezed orange juice. Dalia was down a narrow alleyway but the locals all said hello or bonjour to usand we felt vey safe. The Riad is nearish the action but calm and quiet. The 10-15min walk away to Fna near the horse & carraiges is so interesting. 2 mins Walk from Palias Donab,(hotel) well recomended for eating at a reasonable price but stunningly beautiful archicecture and food. All in all a very warm welcome from host who provided art books for us to look at and a stunning Riad to stay at .We would come again when its a bit warmer!

Estancia acogedora y tranquila
