Yes. The plumbing was old and you could smell poo. The electrical outs were old and my charging plug wouldnt stay connected and one of the outlet didnt work at all. A light switch wasnt secured to the wall. The breakfast was very basic: essentially scrambled eggs, soip and/or cereal. Other than that, the property was clean.

I had a good experience at this small hotel in Laurales. The area is great, a few mins walk to many supermarkets, restaurants, parks etc. Staff are friendly and attentive but don’t speak English, which is fine once you know basic Spanish. Breakfast is tasty and has a good variety. The rooms are a little outdated style wise but they have air conditioning (rare for Medellin) and good hot water. Overall good value!

Wonderful little boutique hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small with basic essentials, but have everything you need. Not much difference between standard room and junior suite, so save some $$ unless you need a king size bed. Would stay here again!

Be prepared for anyone in this area not to speak much English. These days with translation apps it's not that much of a deal. This area is a very safe area and has some options to dine. However, most attractions in Medellin are a long way from the hotel and require often navigating the heavy traffic so allow a lot of extra time reach any destination. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff friendly. The breakfasts are also good to get you started in the morning.

The staff was excellent, but they speak very minimal English, so be ready. They were friendly, attentive and professional. Location is amazing, tree-lined clean streets near the university, restaurants, shops and it is quiet. Room super clear, comfortable with great view. But, the only lights were ceiling mounted flood lights, no lamps. The lights are super bright and a bit uncomfortable. Reading lamps were broken and hanging loose, and electrical outlets need replacing as they won't hold a plug securely. Other than that, excellent stay and we'd go back for sure.

Great stay.

We had an awesome stay. The staff, especially Alejandro and John went out of their way to give us tips during our stay. The room was clean. The breakfast delicious and with a variety of traditional American and Colombian breakfast items. On hotels.com page it states that one if the amenities is airport transportation but they do not offer this service.

The bathroom and amaneities in the room are very poor. No tea or coffee available, no safe, old tvs, no iron and bathrooms old and outdated. Good VFM (some days)

The price varied dramatically from weekday to weekend (triple on Friday of Tuesday). It was good value weekdays but poor value on the weekend when I was there. Wifi is good but severely restricts streaming services like Netflix so as to make it unusable. Good location, nice staff, quiet but only a few minute walk to restaurants.
