It's a nice riad with access to markets, cafes and even sites like the Koutoubia Mosque.

Lovely staff but that’s about it
Posted 31 Jul 2024 on HotelsI found the riad as a recommendation from Condé Nast as a design hotel. I will say that there was nothing impressive on the design front. The staff was absolutely amazing, but everything else was lacking with respect to the accommodations. The bed was very hard and the room was incredibly dark and dingy. There is no restaurant so you’ll need to plan ahead.

One of the most beautiful places on earth! The property was just like the photos and it was really tucked away from the main road. Be prepared to walk a distance to get there. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was very safe and was near one of the palaces. Great food options and close to shops.

TL;DR: This riad is as advertised.
It’s super colorful, and has a friendly and accomodating staff. The views are great and there’s plenty of spots for pictures. Most of the complaints are exaggerated.
There are 2 sides to the riad, the main side with reception and the rooftop, and the pool side that has the well-known courtyard they advertise. If you stay in the main side, you can only access the pool side during its open hours. But trust me, you’re going to want to stay on the main side, and they will put you there upfront.
The only downside I could see with this Riad was the location. The alleyways to get there do seem a bit sketch, but when you realize it’s mostly other riads and families down those streets, you’ll feel better. While it seems close to everything, it’s a 20 min walk to get back from out of it’s tucked away location into the heart of Medina.

Staff was wonderful and always alert to please their guest. Rooms are beautifully decorated and unique. The location is a little tricky because you have to walk in from the street for about 8 min but is very safe and quiet which is better than to be at the souk.

This property was unique, and the staff was as well. The rooms are just how they look in pictures, and the massages were incredible.

Really friendly staff, excellent breakfast, clean, and great massage. Biggest (and only) issue was the POOR lighting in the room and bathroom - could not see myself in the mirror to shave!
