Big room in a quiet old manor/estate. A bit hard to find, google did okay however the entrance was not signed very well. Stairs to room, good breakfast and quiet area. Grounds are dated but the house is clean and spacious. Host was helpful offering maps of the area and ideas for restaurants.

Beautiful Manor House!
Posted 11 Apr 2023 on HotelsWe loved our stay at Vila Duparchy! We felt like family coming home for a visit, rather than hotel guests! The Manor House garden and grounds were exquisite, and the breakfast was so good!

We had stayed here before and had good memories of the service and property. It seems we were less lucky with the room - it was north facing, moldy, and old (not charming old, just old). Property is in good need of a spruce up. Nice couple though, with overall good service.

Beautiful old villa in a great part of Portugal
Posted 13 Apr 2017 on HotelsLovely huge villa in a great area of Portugal. The villa itself is old and a bit tired but that adds to its charm. We loved walking around the huge gardens and picking fresh fruit off the trees. Luso is fantastic town with some of the best restaurants ever. We loved filling up our water bottles from the spring in town too. Great experience!

Fantastic villa in the countryside

Cons: Put a sign on the street!
This place was absolutely idyllic. A country estate a half hour north of Coimbra, Portugal's lovely university city. Very elegant palatial room Nr. 7. Very nice sitting/common room. This is more a country home with paying guests, or a B&B than a real hotel. Super friendly lady checked us in and reserved a table for us at the great Piedra de Sal restaurant. Only downside: you need a good nav system to find the place, they have no sign on the street. Expedia showed a wrong location, you need to look it up on google maps. It's well worth it!
