Nice, clean, comfortable stay. Friendly staff. Good value for the money & a spacious room. Will definitely atay here again!

I gave a highly rated review for this property for a June stay. I stayed again in July and have downgraded my rating for this review. The on-line check in didn't seem to matter - I received the notification that my room was ready after I called and checked in and my request for no maid service during my stay was ignored. My room was cleaned when I requested no service both on-line and in person during check in and had the DO NOT DISTURB tag hanging on the outside of my door. I felt very violated. Is this the worst thing that could happen, no but it didn't make me feel any better. I had left all my work equipment out, my dirty laundry in a pile and my toothbrush out - I was infuriated. All the manager could do was to tell me that there was a "WELL" next to my room number, which meant to check. When I asked him how did that note get next to my room number when not only had I explicitly stated no service during check in I also had the DO NOT DISTURB tag hanging on my door - he had NO answer for me. My privacy request was ignored and I felt violated. This one incident ruined the rest of my stay at the hotel. Then on my last day I was locked out of room sometime around 11am when checkout time is noon and I hadn't checked out yet ... disappointing and unfortunate. I would still consider staying here again as the rest of the staff is great and I like the facilities overall. I just need time to let go of this violation of my privacy ...

Hi Jennifer I am sorry that the violation of your privacy weighed so heavily on you and I did apologize when we spoke. But I also informed you that the WELL was a wellness check and that we MUST open the door when our system displays a wellness check. Even if the DND is on per Marriott policy we must check to make sure the occupant is ok. I also stated that the housekeeper assigned to your room that day was brand new and did not know she must just check to make sure everyone was ok in the room and not touch the room. We have since then told her the proper procedure. I hope this explanation helps. Have a wonderful day and thank you for staying with us.

Customer service was great. Place was clean and quiet. Loved that the mall was across the road.
