Mphumalanga stay over.
Posted 30 Dec 2019 on HotelsAfter our visit to the Kruger National Park we wanted to stay in Mphumalanga for a few days to take in the sites, I booked 2 rooms and requested adjoining, ground floor rooms. We got 2 rooms which were some distance apart. The one 3 sleeper room was also a first floor unit. This accommodation offers self catering with braai facilities at each room. No grids or coal trays were supplied and initially we were told we could not braai at our rooms. After unpacking I realised the distance apart was going to complicate our stay. After discussions with reception they were able to give me an adjoining room, something they were not able to do when we checked in 1 hour earlier. Overall it was pleasant staying there, once issues had been resolved.

Posted 7 Nov 2017 on HotelsIt is a lovely setting but the rooms are pretty shabby and not the cleanest, the beds for instance are difficult to get out! i believe the owners are just milking the location and not investing in the resort.

When we arrived they had no record of our booking until I phoned my husband to ask who we booked through did the receptionist bother to look in the back office. She seemed to wait until I got really annoyed. Once we checked in everyone was very pleasant.
