Torres Mazatlan is amazing and has the friendliest most helpful staff. This is my 32nd year staying here.

This is my third year at Torres. This resort is picturesque with its beauty and charming features. The people that work there treat you like family and do what it takes to make your vacation perfection. They called me several times just to ask if we needed anything and to be sure we were having a fantastic time. Mazatlan is my favorite place in Mexico. There are so many fun things to explore and the food is impeccable. I will be back to Torres for a fourth time!

Unfortunately, my husband broke his leg in the ocean while staying here. The staff's response immediately and in the week following was fantastic, I'm so impressed. They called a doctor who handled all the hospital things, including surgery. The staff checked in on us, gave us a wheelchair to use while staying and even coordinated a special 'low mobility' city tour for us so we could still see a bit of the city.
Injury aside, the resort is small and comfortable. It wasn't too busy while we were there (in early Oct), we were always able to get drinks by the pool or a table for a meal. The 'ocean side' seafood place was DELICIOUS. I could have eaten there daily. We were able to get pizza from a nearby place one night and also walked to a sports bar for a change of venue/food. There is a pharmacy w/in walking distance as well.
My only (small) issue was with the room itself - the AC was temperamental and had to be fixed, and during a rain storm TWO of the windows leaked and left massive puddles on the floor in two rooms. The resort did come help clean it up and fixed 2 of 3 things the next day, but it wasn't ideal to be up in the middle of the night trying to figure out where the water was pouring in from. If you have a choice, Building A is waterfront with beautiful views.

Property was nice and quiet. I was annoyed with a very horrible smell in my unit that was not able to go away even after I asked for professional spray and was not given another unit not available. No discounts applied .

Friendly staff. Where ever you see them they greet you. Food was delicious especially the hamburgers and alll breakfast

Dryers in laundry room were dirty and smelly.
Front desk staff were not helpful when I had a card key issue. Had to go up to the 5th floor multiple times because key card wasn't working. They could have sent maintenance instead of making me go up and down multiple times. Front desk staff were not at all friendly or apologetic about the situation.
