The place is nice and not the common cabin concept, the building is modern but still a work in progress. The windows allow for a beautiful view, however, it is located by a saw mill that starts work at 5:30 am so be ready for the loud noise. The appliances are new it is convenient if traveling with the family, the TV works fine the signal is weak but it is the provider besides who wants to watch TV with so much to do around. I believe it will be better once the units are finished. The owner replies in a timely manner, we asked for towels and the housekeeper delivered within the hour. If booking please know that the place is OK but rather rustic and it may be a bit overpriced maybe because it’s advertised as a VIP stay? Anyway, we had a great time visiting Mazamitla.

I liked that it was spacious with full kitchen but the place was not clean. The bed sheets smelled and appeared to be dirty. The showe curtain was super dirty. The pillows had mold on them. Once i complained to the staff about the dirtyness, they were not happy to give us clean sheets and shower curtain. I would never stay here again and do not recommend it.

Hi Alma! This is Kristy. It's a real shame that you are now posting something different than what you told our husband and me when we went to talk to you. I'm really sorry to hear about your experience with us. I can assure you that our sheets and covers are washed everytime a customer leaves the appartment. The smell you refer to, is Pinol, a Mexican cleaning product, which is used as Lysol. Now, I think that is important to be clear about the mutual interaction we had. Our worker informed us how you mistreated her. And regarding being clean, remember how you gave her the sheets and bed cover full with HUMAN SHIT, without neither advising her nor apologizing. She got stuffed with it.
Nevertheless I wish you and your family a happy new year, and if you decide to come back your are wellcome. All of our customers are important to us, and we are always willing to serve to the best of our capabilities.

A nice surprise
Posted 4 Aug 2019 on HotelsLocated about 10min walk from the center of the city, the place was great for our family. The staff was very friendly and helpful. they provided great information about the city.
The apartment are simple but comfortable and have plenty of blankets for the cold nights :)
Property has some grilling station in the back that you can use.

New condition; clean; roomy but it's not a hotel. Took us some time to get towels and hot water. Other than that a beautiful roomy house

El establecimiento está sucio, paredes manchadas de mugre, la calle muy oscura, tiene una ventana grande a la cual le falta una cortina para tener privacidad.

Ubicacion y vista excelente, areas en comun limpias y bonitas, habitaciones amplias, baño y cocina limpios, agua caliente todo el tiempo, sala con vista hacia las montañas era un despertar maravilloso, telefono e internet funcional todo el tiempo, en general una estancia muy placentera
