Quite some walk from the train station; I'd say 10 mins at least. Check in is at the cafe on the ground floor, so you have to find a staff there. Female dorm was very clean, with small living area and sinks and shower booths. Shared kitchen is upstairs. No water dispenser. :( And no vending machines, so I nearly died of thirst when water ran out. Room was very warm even though the weather was chilly, think no ventilation and the windows were not opened. In terms of vibes, the dorm was not very conducive for socialising as the common sitting area was very small and people are supposed to keep quiet inside the sleeping area. Lockers in the sleeping area, hate that they are metal as no way to keep the noise down.

It is in a good location in Matsusaka. The toilet is located in the odd way, outside the common room that is attached with shower room and bedroom. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the stay.

Nice quiet countryside town hostel
Posted 18 May 2018 on HotelsI choose this hostel because it was close from the train station on my way back to Nagoya. It was a nice small hostel in a quiet countryside town. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hostel also have coffee /restaurant on first floor but I didn't eat there
