Nice hotel near station

Posted 14 Apr 2018
This is a small hotel with everything needed. Welcome drinks is really as it provided some snacks and both alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks. We did have a good happy hour in the lobby!! Car park is also close to the hotel in low cost.

Good location, great staff

I stayed a night at the hotel. The location is very close to the Matsuzaka station. Good service from staff and also welcome drinks for guests. Clean room. Nice stay.

It's alright

The staff was nice to move us from a smoking to non-smoking room. However, it was a very simple, very basic, dull business hotel, with very unappetising breakfast options.

Great cozy hotel by Matsusaka Station. Recommended

I've stayed at the Ace Inn a few times. Check in is fast. English is spoken. There is a welcome drink during happy hour. It is very clean. The location is perfect, as it's only 1.5 blocks from Matsusaka Station (JR Exit). Walk down 1 block and turn left before the light and go down a block and you'll see it. The only downsize is the rooms are very small, but this is Japan. However, even though I'm a big guy, I can easily fit on the comfortable bed. I get a little claustrophobic in the bathroom. But the price and location are great. The checkout is 10am (early), but I slept in until 11am and was not charged for the extra hour which was nice. I have never tried the breakfast.

Japanese typical but clean business hotel

Posted 2 Jun 2017 on Hotels
Room is definitely small for anyone who aren't used to Japanese business hotel. I've stayed in twin room but we had 2 beds, very small room to open one 20" suitcase, and that's it. Other than that room is in decent condition, service is great and breakfast is par with other hotels and chains. Wifi is decent but speed decreases significantly at night when everyone is trying to connect. They have welcome drink hour that you can have one beer/sake/liquor in evening. Location is great, a few block away from station and you'll have all kind of Matsusaka Beef restaurants in vicinity.

Very close to the station, but little else

Posted 28 Nov 2015
Pros: A good location very close to the station and the main shopping area, including watering holes.
Cons: The dining area, including the furnishings.
Location: There are a number of interesting Edo Period buildings, etc, near the remains of the castle. Precious little for shoppers outside of local beef.
One soon gets used to what "cramped" means when staying in Japanese hotels of this level, but I found this even more cramped than usual. Two things highlighted this: the dining room/space, which was badly equipped and too small for the number of tables it needed to accommodate; and, the absence of any stairs that could be used instead of the single elevator. The variety of food for breakfast was actually quite good, but it was difficult to appreciate among the crush! While 10 minutes walk from the station, versus 1 minute for this hotel, I would choose Route Inn over Ace because it has everything Ace doesn't, including an excellent dining room, lots of space, and stairs, not to mention lots of parking. (I stayed here for 3 nights before moving to Ace.)

At this price, I love this

Room is not big but large enough for a couple stay (a bit bigger than Standard Double Room of Shinosaka Conference Center Hotel that we stay recently). Wifi, breakfast we did not try, standard small bathroom. Only problem with the TV that they used mini PC box which was slow responding (might be slow CPU) and the remote was all Japanese. Front desk is very supportive. Although english is difficult but they try to help us on many questions we ask. We also get a nice local Matsuzaka beef restaurant from their recommendation which could not be searched from the internet.

Great location near the station. Budget option to visit Ise Peninsula. Warm and kind staff.
