Beautiful Residence in the Countryside

Pros: Excellent staff, brilliant service, immaculate condition of living quarters, boutique experience
Cons: This is a relatively new residence. More activities may be launched by the owners in the not-too-distant future!
Location: It is in the heart of Daikon Island, about a fifteen minute drive from Yonago Airport. It is surrounded by fields and is not far from Yuushien Garden.
This is probably one of the best experiences that I have had whilst travelling. Don't be misled by the "hostel" designation of this guest house - it is really a boutique, luxury residence in the heart of Daikon Island. First and foremost, the guesthouse owner, who speaks very good English, was very kind and drove me around the whole day. He picked me up from Yonago Airport and brought me to Yuushien Garden, and to lunch and dinner. He also took me on a tour of Sakaiminato and its port, and we had a excellent lunch before I set off the very next day. About the residence, it has a shared toilet but it is exceptionally clean. It also has a large common space where activities can be carried out - perfect for small-scale corporate or family retreats. The bed, a large mattress, was very comfortable, and COCORETO also provides the sale of delicious snacks and bicycle rentals for those who wish to tour Daikon Island by bike. If you want a boutique and cozy experience in this region, this is the place to stay in! The residence is surrounded by fields and is exceptionally quiet, but convenience stores are quite near and delicious meals could be bought at restaurants not far away.

This was one of the most beautiful Hostel I stayed at during my 3 month travel through Japan. It is situated close to a bus-station, but because my train from Tokyo arrived late, they picked me up at the train station in Sakaiminato - no problem! The atmosphere is very cozy and family-like. The area is also definitely worth a trip.

ココリト大根島
Posted 22 Nov 2018 on Hotelsココリトは、バス停留所からも歩いて行ける範囲で、停留所前の由志園は、ナイターも素晴らしいです。まわりの施設で食べる所はほぼ焼き鳥屋さんしかないので、お勧めは、由志園の中で食べるか、近くにスーパーがあるので、何か買って食べるか、作るかです。立派なキッチンやたくさんの調味料も揃っています。ベッド内もゆったりしていて、コンセントも多く、施設全体が清潔感があり、清々しく気持ちよく過ごせました。
