All good except TV in room 2. Husband needs subtitles to watch, hearing lose/ stroke. Couldn’t find anywhere in settings. I did ask for help and told someone would look at it. No one came back to me and it was just the same following day.

Staff were friendly and attentive. The room was very well presented, just a shame that there was no aiir conditioning which resulted in the room being excessively hot until almost midnight. The room was positioned above a kitchen door which kept banging shut till late and again from the beginning of breakfast which resonated up through the floor and onto the bed. Good room, terrible/ little sleep.

Not their fault, but the room was very hot. The kitchen fans were just outside the room and they stayed on all night. They were clearly understaffed for dinner in the evening and the breakfast menu online didn’t really make sense. However the staff were all really lovely and the surrounding areas were fantastic and worth a visit.

Hi! Our wonderful British summertime is upon us, and like most of our homes in the UK, our bedrooms don’t have air conditioning. We are trying yo do what we can to keep rooms as cool as possible by leaving windows open, keeping curtains closed to stop the sun from directly heating rooms and providing a fan, we could of also provided you with a top sheet rather than a duvet, this was noted on a notice at the foot of the bed. I'm really sorry that this affected your stay, however is out of our control. Our cellar coolers are outside of the window of room 1 and 8, these unfortunately have to stay on to ensure our beer temp is regulated over night, these do tend to be more noisy when warmer as they are working harder.We were extremely busy last night and caught of guard with the flow of guests, sorry that this affected your meal.
