Excellent hotel with amazing rooms and wonderful staff. Very close to the centre of Matera but nice and quiet. The breakfast was also fantastic!

Palazzo della Fontana is a beautifully renovated hotel right at the start of the historic town, allowing you to reach it easily by car, and also use it as the perfect base for sightseeing.
A very tasteful, spotlessly clean property with excellent staff and great amenities.
Cherry on top… the rooftop bar where you can enjoy your cocktail with a great view of the old town.

Beautiful property within walking distance to everything in Matera. Staff were all very friendly snd were able to answer any questions we had and helped us get a lunch reservation during the city festival. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to anyone going to Matera

Great location, clean room, friedly staff
Posted 4 Jul 2024 on HotelsStayed here for only 1 night, wish it was longer. Super comfortable bed, with large bathroom. Right nwxt to the main puazza. Staff are super friendly. They also have a rooftop deck to enjoy drinks appies at the end of your day. Will definitely stay here in our next trip To Matera
