What a unexpected find, a very friendly reception and a hidden gem of a room. Very comfortable bed and fantastic shower in the bathroom.

Greeting was warm and friendly. The breakfast excellent and served with a nice interpretation of the local ingredients. The suite we chose was superb however it had not been clear in the Expedia ad that it was 2 flights of stairs up which was disappointing.

This is one of the very best places you can stay in Matane! It is central to absolutely everything in Matane and the staff with make sure that you know all of your options.
The room I had was simply amazing, clean, cozy and well appointed. I highly recommend for couples, or for anyone who wants to have a different experience than a hotel.
My welcome by Elana was super and she was super helpful and kind.
I give this Auberge a solid 10 out of 10 and I do not do that often!

Wonderful stop for overnight, and could easily have stayed longer! We left too early to have breakfast - maybe another time.

We selected this hotel because it was close to the ferry. You have to report to the ferry at 7:30, we were informed breakfast was at 8:00, no exceptions, nothing to go but you pay full price. Somewhat fortunately, the house is right between a Tim Horton and McDonald’s. They advertised an ocean view room and I guess you could see a little of the ocean on the other side of the highway and over the top of a shopping mall. Not the experience we had hoped for.
