"Perfect location next to the pub which does fantastic food. Very high end cottage in both style & comfort, very clean too & having a courtyard for the dogs was great as we could sit outside with them. Would definitely stay again. "

"The apartment was very well fitted out, the staff were lovely very helpful, it is a little far from town and took us a while to find the local supermarket, maybe some instructions on how to work the job and parking was an issue, we went out for the day and had to park quite a walk away, but on the whole we loved it and were very comfortable 😊"

"Beautiful stay at these gorgeous sea view apartments. The hotel reception staff were so friendly and helpful and we had a lovely surprise of some delicious complimentary cupcakes when we entered the apartment. The apartment itself had everything we needed for our stay and for my elderly father-in-law who now struggles with stairs, the added bonus of a lift that takes you straight into the apartment. "Couldn't fault our stay in the Marlborough apartments, the rooms were excellent, clean, well furnished, with all the amenities of home. We will definitely be staying there again on our next visit to Scarborough..."

"Loved the hot tub and private garden as we had 2 dogs. The walk in the forest was lovely and convenient as on our doorstep. If we were being picky, the road leading to the property was at times quite bumpy, so caution with speed is required, but what the property itself has to offer made up for it. It is a home away from home and a good place to getaway from the hustle of life."

"Lovely hotel - we had the executive double with sea view - very comfortable king size bed, nice white bed and bathroom linen, large room with two bucket chairs and great sea view, tea/coffee, lovely clean bathroom with very hot water and great shower. Class on the clifftops

"We had a brilliant weekend. The staff were first class. The hotel upgraded our room free of charge when they heard it was our ruby wedding. The views from our room were nothing short of spectacular. Although the hotel is a little ‘tired’ in places it did not detract anything from the weekend. The hotel has character and class. It gives the impression of being remote, but it is tucked away on the top of the cliffs close to the main Whitby to Scarborough road. Food was very good and the bar had a great ambience. Highly recommend."

"We stopped off 1 night en route to Lincoln. On site parking & well appointed rooms. Bar & restaurant areas very pleasant and breakfast was excellent. Worth knowing the bar serves coffee & cakes so would visit again even if passing through."
